It’s been two wonderful years of Greenstone Literary!

As we celebrate our second anniversary, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've been on so far.

‍

When Greenstone Literary launched in May 2024, it began with Tanera and Laura, and a handful of wonderful authors who continued to place their trust in us. Since then, our agency has continued to grow. Last year, we were delighted to welcome our assistant, Freya, and our third agent, Liza DeBlock, to the team. Together, we now represent 50 talented authors!

Whether it's an author getting their first publishing deal, becoming a Sunday Times or Amazon Bestseller, selling their first translation or 30th, to being nominated for awards, or hitting one million sales, we couldn't be prouder of everything our authors have accomplished, and it has been a privilege to support them on their journeys. Over the last two years we have struck 44 primary deals for over 80 titles for our authors; and seen our translation and dramatic co-agents agree 71 and 5 deals respectively.

The past year also brought exciting recognition for our team. Both Tanera and Laura were nominated for awards by the Romantic Novelists' Association, with Tanera honoured as Agent of the Year.

Of course, when you begin something new, there are always moments of uncertainty. When we first opened the doors to Greenstone Literary, we wondered how people would find us and whether submissions would come our way. As it turns out, we needn't have worried. Since day one, we have been fortunate to receive an overwhelming number of submissions, and it has been an absolute joy to discover exceptional manuscripts, and sign new authors to Greenstone Literary.
