Profile Books Acquires Voyager’s Golden Record

We're thrilled to share the news that Profile Books has acquired Voyager’s Golden Record: An Enduring Reflection by design director of the Golden Records Jon Lomberg, NASA historian Glen Swanson and space anthropologist Deana Weibel.

In an exclusive submission, Izzy Everington acquired world all-language rights from our own Liza DeBlock! In 1977, Voyagers one and two were launched into space, each carrying an identical Golden Record. Decades later, and with billions of miles travelled, they remain the only human-made objects to have entered interstellar space. Fifty years after the Voyager launch, Lomberg, Swanson and Weibel offer this "groundbreaking" account, complete with never-before-seen archival material, to celebrate and reflect on the golden anniversary of the Golden Record.

Read all about it in The Bookseller annoucement!
