Weibel, PhD, is a cultural anthropologist and professor at Grand Valley State University in Michigan whose work explores meaning, belief, and human experience in scientific and space-related contexts. She has conducted research with space scientists, astronauts, and space institutions, and writes at the intersection of anthropology, cosmology, and culture. She is the author of The Ultraview Effect (May 2026) and a frequent public speaker on space, awe, and exploration.
